I Love SG!

November 7, 2011
Choa Chu Kang, Singapore

The 18th of November marks my second month of stay here in Singapore and I must say I've fallen completely in love with the city! Singapore is like a huge tourist attraction with shopping malls all around that will make any fashion slave lose her mind, the nakakaaliw double deck buses, beautiful man-made beaches, the requisite Universal Studios, fantastic architecture of museums and landscapes, and night life that makes any party animal go insane. Life is very convenient for locals, expats, and tourists alike. This post is for you, Singapore!

My peg is the just-got-out-of-bed look so I made my hair ultra wavy and big without any accessories and wearing only lipstick and mascara. I also decided to walk barefooted in the grass so the look will be achieved. The oversized shirt and short shorts somehow copied the look I was going for.
Since we're observing a non-working holiday today, we have enough time to be silly and take photos at the village park. My friends Nicco, Em, Grace (not pictured) and I put on our "I love SG" shirts and take random photos. Here, you may take a look at how they rock the statement shirts.
Nicco portrayed a rugged urban look with cargos and footwear in the same shade of gray.  The red statement shirt really stood out in these photos.
My friend Em, on the other hand, opted to wear rugged jeans and black shoes.  After the shoot we went home and cook pasta (for the third time this weekend) for early dinner. I really enjoyed this long weekend! Can't wait for the next one. Have a lovely week ahead loves! Xxo

Friday Night at The Ritz-Carlton

October 28, 2011
Friday, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel

Last night, my friend Em had a wine dinner event at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel. He works for a wine manufacturing company and is in the Marketing department so he's in charge of all the company events. He invited us to go with him and so we did.  This is what I was wearing:

I was wearing a satin tulip skirt, sheer black polo, platforms, electric blue chandelier earrings and a huge black soft leather clutch.  After the event we went to Marina Bay Sands to have dinner and watch the water and light show. The show was amazing! It was my first time to see the show and it was beautiful! And the best part of it is that it's free! We didn't get to take much photos since the memory card of the cam was full.  After that, we went to Clark Quay with friends to have drinks and shisha.
My best "girl" friend Em and I before watching the light and water show :)

Anyway, here are some photos of Em's event in The Ritz-Carlton:

I have to commend him for surviving his second week at work and organizing three corporate events in one week! You can check his blog at http://mytintedlenses.wordpress.com/  Tonight's Halloween! What are you wearing? Have a great weekend loves! Xx

Window Shopping at Orchard Road

September 20, 2011
Tuesday, Orchard Road, SG

I arrived at Singapore last Sunday morning. Last Tuesday night, we decided to roam around Orchard Road and check out all the shops. As a self-confessed shopaholic, I went gaga over the giant flagship stores along the block. Some of the interesting shops I found are H&M, Forever 21, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, and D&G.  I was aware that I'm gonna do a lot of walking so I was dressed this way:

H&M is love :)

I was wearing short shorts from local brand Bayo, sheer top from Maldita, flats from Cole Vintage, a carry-all from Nine West, and some random bangles and earrings.  With me are my friends JM, Em, and Nicco.  We had fun checking out all the shops. I actually spotted lots of fabulous items at rock-bottom prices.

This store is kind of special to me. Mont Blanc is a mountain in France

Tomorrow, September 24, 2011, will be the start of the F1 weekend in Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Too bad, the ticket is soooo expensive, it's way out of my budget. But still, we will go and check out the place. Have a great weekend everyone! XX
