Preview of Outfit for Dreamwarp

I received an invite to Dreamwarp, an exclusive launch of a new collection of Mimco, an Australian brand of ladies accessories. This event is in partnership with L’Officiel Singapore.  Dreamwarp will happen tonight at the Mimco boutique in Ion Orchard.  I am actually happy that I can bring a plus one with me so I will attend the launch with my friend Krishna.  I am wearing the Mango studded dress that I got from their annual sale event, pair it with my nude platform pumps (the one I was wearing in my previous blogpost), a green oversized croc-printed clutch and some big cocktail rings. I decided to keep the look simple because the dress itself is already stunning. It has studs in the neckline all the way to the strap and back. I love the back detail – it lets you show some skin without going overboard.  I know we will have a great and fabulous time together tonight! Wishing you a fabulous and fun Wednesday night as well!

Paint The Town Red

It's a rainy Saturday morning my friend Krishna and I will head to Ikea to shop for some home accessories. Today's a gloomy day and what better way to brighten up your day than wearing brights? I was wearing red pants and matched it with my plain black top and black platform pumps.  I'm loving structured bags these past few days so I decided to match the red and black combo with the structured camel bag from Picard.  This is from the Picard Bay range, a collection of structured totes and shoulder bags.  This collection will come out in the stores on March.  I love this bag since it's roomy and the color matches everything.  I have a flair for accessories and I really feel naked without them so I topped off the look with long chain necklaces from TopShop, bangles from Mango and rings from H&M.  My friend Krishna took all the photos (I'm so glad we're living in the same house now!) We've been friends for nearly four years now and I'm really happy she decided to stay here in Singapore to work. I'm really excited to show her around! I hope everyone's having a great Saturday too - rain or shine!

Batam, Indonesia

We decided to go to Batam, Indonesia to spend Chinese New Year since we have 4 days off. I used to hate the beach but now I've come to love it because it's a great excuse to don your pretty swimsuits. I'm scared of huge bodies of water so just imagine how scared I was when we were about to board the ferry. Thank God I fell asleep all throughout the trip. It took us only 45 minutes to go to Batam from Singapore. We stayed there for three days and I have just one regular-sized bag with me. Haha! I just brought two pairs of swimsuits from Wanderlust, tops from H&M, Mango, and Topshop, some light makeup, a pair of Havianas, and my Tessere bag. I wore my studded Mango dress for our first day. (Sorry for the self-portrait shots as my friends are so busy taking photos of themselves so I just took my own photos. Lol) During the second day, we went to Turi Beach Resort as the locals told us that this is the most famous and beautiful beach resort in town. The view is amazing! The weather is perfect for a dip in the pool, the beach is fantastic. We had a buffet lunch at the resort then after that we went to the pool to drink and swim. We just spent our last day inside the hotel since we were about to go back to Singapore then. Hope you had a fabulous Chinese New Year too! Xx
